About Us

Dundee University Surgical Society (DUSS) is one of the largest and longing running societies present within the medical school. The first three years of your undergraduate teaching in Dundee is devoid of much surgical teaching. Joining DUSS can allow you experiences that will be hard to come by otherwise.

Membership will allow you to attend our suturing workshops that run weekly, along with other insightful events such as the career’s night, elective’s evening and our lunch-time lecture series. For those with the slightest inclination that surgery might be the career path for them, or those whom simply want to bolster their repertoire with skills such as suturing, come join us at DUSS!

Membership is available throughout the year but come find our stall at the Fresher’s Fayre to find out more about our society and what we have to offer you!
